Shouldn't the History of the Eredar be before this in the chronological playlist, since Archimonde is here?

Wouldn't the ones who went west be the Farakki, not the Gurubashi? Aren't the Gurubashi in the east, in Stranglethorn?

Shouldn't this be a bit later on in the chronological playlist? Currently it's right after the Old Gods first arrive on Azeroth, but should probably be moved to after the Troll & Aqir war and the Aqir Empire's defeat.

They took *a lot* of inspiration from Warhammer 40k, specifically the Adeptus Mechanicus faction. They consider machines to be sacred, with spirits that need to be pacified and revered. In one of the books, The Greater Good, the main character is trying to turn on a machine: "I banged it with the heel of my hand, in the fashion I'd seen tech-priests use with recalcitrant devices, and muttered a few half-remembered phrases from the Litany of Percussive Maintenance which they generally employed on such occasions." Also, Speaker Brinthe's backpack is practically identical to AdMech mechadendrites - cybernetic limbs they graft onto themselves to help them better maintain and interface with machines. Warcraft's first developers tried to obtain a license for Warhammer's fantasy IP, but they failed, so the filed off the serial numbers. You can still see the early Warhammer inspiration, though, in things like the chunky art style and the "humans vs. orcs" conflict.

It feels very weird to play a full on mech race

When it comes to the player character knowing stuff like what happened to the Titans at the end of Legion, or what the Shadowlands were like. A few things have always made sense to me: I figured that we were told, off screen, to never talk about it as it was classified. The Alliance and Horde propaganda machine is a real in game thing, you know. Also pointing out that these nations/tribes are not democracies with the free speech that comes with it. These are Feudal era ruling systems, granted with nicer, more tolerant leaders than we've had IRL, but just their word could send our pc's to prison or Death (even if we players can't actuality die, a perceived one would make the adventuring business very difficult) In this case blabbing is probably the quickest way to wind up with an SI7 knife in the back. Then there's the trauma issue, a certain other game that shall remain name less, has pointed out that being an Adventurer means deleting a lot of things, being hunted, betrayed, captured, tortured and endless fighting in wars, that, like in IRL, always seem to be spring up somewhere across Azeroth. A normal person is traumatized after an accidental deletion, and the Forsaken are the way they are after one death, rez, and mind control session. Maybe talking about eating dirt 200+ to stop a mad Titan is something that you wouldn't want to do after the experience. 😁 Sorry for the book, but we all know the real reason blizz Avoided addressing past events is to make it easier for new players to jump in. But its a fun topic to think on. And I feel your frustration, so hopefully reading my head canon makes you feel a little better about staying mute when you could just point to the red star in the sky and say there they are!! To think that had they been less arrogant and kept a division dedicated to Shamanism, the Night Elves could have stopped their queen from starting that war and could have evolved their society further. Just think about it. They had a High Born as a strong division for Arcane, Malfurion and his demi-god friend as the starters of the Druid division, and the worshippers of Elune for both Light and Life magic. They practically controlled enough. With shamanism and less arrogance, they could rival what the Eradars had before Sargeras came to their world.

I love wow lore like most great stories like the lotr the have similarities to good vs evil, god vs satan etc. etc. my only ussue with wow lore is they never say how long the planets took to make after this and how long the souls of those planets took to become the pantheon

I know this is almost 6 years old now, but I very much enjoyed the draenei episodes (Your Draenei/Eredar codex episodes got me into wow lore!) In the podcast episode before this, you mention Isei having a headcanon about Draenei toilets, and I wanted to hear about it!! Has she posted her headcanon anywhere?

I tire of hearing how xenophobic and or racist the Scarlet Crusade are for combating the troubles of their nation. You don't see Humans or elves fighting along side Gnomes or forming 'Gnomish" factions to combat the evils of their home. Man this wears me out. Gnomes, Dwarves, Orcs, ECT fight in their own battles

As a New player to Wow in 2023, this is one of my biggest gripes with the game. I play a Monk, and whilst i like the bare hand combat, i would really love the option of Fist weapons to grind for. But due to the fact my strongest weapons are in fact Two handed Staff's, i cant get a cool Glowing fists transmog going due to the weapon restrictions and its very irritating how dated the Tmog is in this game. Plus Loosening the restrictions would give me so much to grind for in terms of transmog looks.
